Here are the answers to some questions our customers frequently ask. If you don’t see the answer you looking for, please call us. Human beings are standing by to actually talk with you. Quit laughing. Seriously, we answer the phone when it rings and the only accent we have is a slight Texas drawl.

  • What is Junk Busters-USA?
    We are a full service, professional junk removal company based in Austin, Texas.
    • What can you take away?
      We can haul away just about anything we can lift that doesn’t glow in the middle of the night.
      What we can take:
      Appliances- Washer & dryers, fridges, freezers, stoves, dishwashers, etc.
      Furniture-Couches, dressers, chairs, tables, mattresses, lawn furniture, etc.
      General Junk-Boxes, books, packing materials, debris, exercise equipments, clothing, etc.
      Garage Clean Outs-Whatever you have in there.
      Renovation Debris-Lumber, cabinets, trim, countertops, sheetrock, fixtures, etc.
      Office Junk-Desks, filing cabinets, bookcases, tables, chairs, copiers, printers
      E-Watse-Computers, monitors, cabling, powers supplies, copiers, printers
      Storage Facility Clean Outs-We do these all the time
      Are you getting the picture there is a pretty good chance we can haul away whatever you have?
      Wood-Firewood, fencing, lumber

    • What we can’t take?
      Hazardous materials such as chemicals, solvents, asbestos, oil and gasoline, fertilizers, etc.

  • How do you charge?
    It’s very simple. We charge based on how much room your junk takes up in the back of one of our clean and shiny, lime green trucks. You only pay for the space you need and we pack it efficiently in order to give you a great value. Our affordable rates include everything-All the lifting, loading, a general cleanup, we recycle and donate everything we can and the rest goes out to the landfill. If you have very heavy items such as concrete or rocks we have a separate price list for those items. Either way, all you have to do is point!

  • How big is your truck?
    Our truck beds hold 18 cubic yards and are the largest of their kind in the nation but also small enough to get into tight spaces, driveways with branches, etc. The bed measurements are 12ftL x 8ftW x 5ftH. They are open on the top and we seal the bed with a tarp before leaving.

  • What kind of people do you hire?
    Great question. It’s one the best parts of who we are. We hire wonderful people and all of our Team Members are full time employees. No day laborers. They are friendly, clean cut, uniformed and thoroughly background checked. Each employee must pass a four week interview process before they join the Junk Buster family. We’re serious about this because we are coming to your home or business. Your safety is very important to us at all times so we don’t skimp on our people. Ever. If you’re looking for creepy dudes from God knows where, please call our competition.
  • Why can’t you give me an exact price over the phone?
    Our pricing is based on volume and the type of junk you have. We do the quotes visually hence the need to come see the junk and give you a Free No Obligation Estimate. We come ready to haul so if you give us the green light, we get started right away.
  • What do you with the junk you haul away?
    We promise to recycle or donate everything we can and properly dispose of the rest. It’s not only our commitment to you and the environment but it also keeps our prices down. It is very expensive to go the landfill.
  • When should I book an appointment?
    We book on a first come, first serve basis so we highly recommend that as soon as you know of when you need us please call us and let’s get you scheduled. We can always change the appointment if something comes up on your end. We are very easy to work with. In general though, we book 1-3 days out.
  • How do you compare to your competition?
    One of our favorite questions. Outstanding Value-Outstanding Service. Our trucks are 20% larger than our nearest national competitor but our rates are on average 30% less. We hire outstanding people to take care of you and are committed to making the experience of doing business with us one of the best business experiences you’ve ever had regardless of industry. We’re also proud to be based right here in Austin, Texas.
  • Can you do the job for me if I am not on site?
    Yes. Because of the people we hire and the way we do business we do this on a regular basis. Once we get there, we’ll call and verify the items you need hauled away and give you an upfront, no obligation estimates. Once you approve it, we’ll get started right away and call you back when the job is completed and collect payment. We accept all major credit cards.
  • Do you work outside normal business hours?
    We try to get everyone taken care of during normal business hours but at times that doesn’t work for our customers. Just let us know what works best for you and we’ll do everything possible to get you taken care of.
  • What forms of payments do you accept?
    Cash, local checks, all major credit cards and gold bullion.
  • Are you licensed and insured to do this work?
    Absolutely.
  • Can you give me a donation receipt for tax purposes?
    Our pleasure. Just ask the guys before they leave. Once we drop the items off at a local charity we’ll drop it in the mail to you within 48 hours.
  • What is the name of the guy on your website with the incredible hair?
    That’s’ the one and only Mr. Nathan Wood. A wonderful member of the Junk Busters family who will never need Rogain.
  • Why can’t you take hazardous materials?
    We’re not licensed to. However, we hate the word no. If you have anything we can’t legally or properly haul away, the crew will help you find a resource to dispose of it. Our Helpful Info Page has great information to help you in this area.
  • Why should I use you over a dumpster?
    Time, value and your back. Compared to a dumpster we only charge for the space you need. So if you only need a 1/3 of the truck that’s all we’ll charge you for. Also, our affordable rates include the labor-all the lifting, loading a general clean up and we’ll also donate and recycle everything we can. All you have to do is point.
